Flash Plays Well with Others | pt 1 | Quicktime

Hey All, this is the first part in my new tutorial series, Flash plays well with others. Flash is awesome in that it can work and integrate with other software applications.

First up, Quicktime, as in how to export to Quicktime from Flash. Enjoy, leave comments, and feedback, and stuff.

Thanks Tony! I found that incredibly helpful. Especially the bit on being able to change your aspect ratio before exporting. I guess that’s the beauty of working with vectors.

That was really helpful. But I'm having trouble because it never fully exports. The export progress bar never goes away but it also never errors out! I'm not sure why and I can't get my movie!

How large/long is your Flash file? That maybe an issue. I've had videos that I just let publish overnight, especially if the dimensions are large and the duration of the movie is long.
Feel free to zip and send me your file to look at via classes[at]tonyteach.com

Hi. Just found your tuts. Would be great if you would indicate which version you’re working with somewhere in the text – thanks!
